Heads in the Cloud

This project Is realized within The framework of Five Million Incidents, 2019-2020, conceived by Goethe-Insitut / Max Mueller Bhavan in collaboration with Raqs Media Collective.

Five Million Incidents is a year-long project. It marks the centenary of the Declaration of the Independence of the Mind, signed by an international consortium of artists, intellectuals and philosophers that included Albert Einstein, Rabindranath Tagore and Romain Rolland.

FMI aims at expanding our notion of art as an extension of the everyday experiences of life. FMI is a process of generating temporal and sometimes ephemeral collective moments of working, learning, listening, sharing, and engaging and becoming. It is a process of bridging the gap between the disciplinary process and our everyday activities.

As a part of the project, I have created an Interactive Site-Specific work in the form of an Augmented Reality based android mobile app. Applications provide different type of obstacle and fragments of architectures which question our notions of viewing and the way we experience space In everyday life.

Visitor Interaction

Heads In The Cloud V2.0

as a part of the second version of the app, I have used fragments of digitally constructed architectural structures as a visual element to intervene in the physical space. these structures are virtually placed on the ground when we touch on the screen and move at the space.

Through the work, my intention is to create an environment for the viewers to interact and engage with the surrounding space. placed virtual structures react and synchronize with the environment light, nearby structures, and objects.

Virtual structures create an immersive environment, which opens up many new dimensions to play/interact with virtual structures and the space around them.
